National Interstate Sponsors 2023 Akron Marathon 8K & 1 Mile Race

At National Interstate Insurance, we take great pride in supporting our surrounding community and promoting health and wellness. This is demonstrated through our commitment to serve as the title sponsor of the National Interstate 8k & 1 Mile Race, since 2016. These two events kick off the annual Akron Marathon Race Series, which builds up to longer distances across three different races throughout the summer. For the past eight years, our employees have been encouraged to participate in the races as a part of our wellness initiative or volunteer to help on race days to give back to the community. When they have finished running, our employees stay near the finish line to cheer on other runners and show their support!

This year, we are extremely proud to say that our team had 44 employees alongside 20 friends and family members participating, in addition to the more than 1,700 other runners across both the 8k & 1-mile races. Of those employees, Ryan Kiley finished in 1st place for the 1 Mile Race! Seeing our employees actively involved in promoting health and wellness within our community is truly rewarding. After many successful years of serving as a title sponsor of The Akron Marathon Race Series, we look forward to continuing to promote health and wellness within our community!
